Precoolers & Ashcatchers
Equipped with tough male ground joints, these ashcatchers slide into the female ground joint of your bong to create a longer smoke path. As you inhale, the diffused downstem in the precooler filters the smoke before it even enters the main bong. Ash and other bits of plant matter are trapped within the precooler chamber and thus never make it to your tube – this cuts down on cleaning as well as delivering cooler, smoother hits with fewer impurities.
Be sure to check the size and glass thickness of your bong before purchasing an ashcatcher – we recommend only pairing 5mm thick precoolers with 5mm thick bongs, as the weight may damage the joint on a 3mm thick waterpipe. Also check joint size – precoolers are available for 14.5mm and 18.8mm ground joints.
