Spannabis 2025 Barcelona - The Final Rendition

Barcelona, March 2025 — As the sun set on the final rendition of Spannabis Barcelona, a tradition set back in 2002, this year had a slightly different, sombre vibe as the worldwide community gathered with a mixed feeling of nostalgia and electric anticipation. For over two decades, Spannabis had served as the heartbeat of Europe’s cannabis culture — a place where innovation met tradition, and breeders, connoisseurs, advocates, and industry giants converged to celebrate the plant in all its glory. But this year, booth #39 in the Main Hall, hosted by Pure Sativa, has etched itself into history as the undeniable epicentre of it all.

Bluzzi was released to much furore, which only increased after the news broke... This collaborative strain with Karma Genetics didn’t just wow the crowd but walked away with Spannabis 2025’s award for Highest THC. With its glistening trichomes and dense, terpene-rich structure, Bluzzi is a marvel of breeding finesse, offering an intense Zkittlez flavour that stays smooth and mouth-coating. This wasn’t just about numbers on a certificate — it was a full-bodied experience.

Beyond Bluzzi, Sour Blucci and Blue Zlime were some of the most desired, but each strain created a buzz. Karma also brought back their legendary KG Sour Diesel Bx2 and their Zowahh 2.0 

Also in the Karma corner were two epic collabs:

• Gold Digger with DNA Genetics is a hybrid that buzzed across both flower crowds. Its legendary OG Kush lineage guarantees gassy performance and citrus funk.

And then, there was Perfect Tree — the boutique breeders whose consistent drop of flavour-first, exotic profiles continues to seduce even the most seasoned smokers. For Spannabis 2025, they came armed with their brand-new ZaiZai Regular Range, and it was nothing short of magic.

They also expanded their Peach Ozz feminized line that has been such a staple over recent years, which has spawned many hits like Lime Ozz, Pink Gasoline, Mimozz and many more.

• Blue Peach (Blue 16 x Peach Ozz): A soft, creamy dessert-forward nose backed by warm peachy notes — like biting into a ripe fruit at golden hour.
• Picchu (Bingsu x Peach Ozz): Possibly the most exotic of the bunch, bringing a frozen dessert-like creaminess with undertones of fermented stone fruit.
