HortiLab are one of the more recent seed companies to join the PureSativa fold.  We started distributing wholesale and retail for these guys just last summer, but already the feedback we’ve had has been phenomenal.

When HortiLab got in touch recently and told us about a new strain they had developed in association with Karma Genetics, we were delighted and very excited to be able to offer it to our customers:

StarKush is the name of the new marijuana strain and potent, deep Indica is the game.  Derived from a cross of HortiLab’s StarBud Sister and Karma Genetics’ Biker Kush, StarKush is a hybrid cannabis made up of 20% Sativa genetics and 80% Indica. 

When HortiLab grew the strain out in their dedicated facility in a legal climate, they were rewarded with strong, prolific plants which managed to retain the very best characteristics of both parent strains:  chunky, well defined buds from StarBud Sister and the added Indica potency from the Biker Kush.  Flavours are complex – strong and kushy, backed with earthy pine undertones – just sublime. 

Perhaps the best characterstic of StarKush, however, is the amount of resin production.  Buds and leaves are liberally coated in crystalline trichomes.  HortiLab themselves believe this strain would be ideal for the production of oils and concentrates.
