This year we won 5 prizes at the Cannabis Cup as well as the 1st place at the Legends of Hash dinner, It was a crazy end of a wild year for DNA.

Some background on the winners:  

We started this year with 4 wins at the Spannabis champions Cup in February, 2nd Indoor for OG Kush, 3rd Outdoor for Recon, and  2nd and 3rd for Hash Blackberry Kush and Velvet OG. This was DNAs first time entering the Hash catagory and with a second and third they were only hopping the Cannabis Cup in November would have a Hash catagory as well... (there had been talk of a Hash cup for the seed companys for a few years now...?) . The verdict was in and we had a HASH catagory for Seed Companys for the first time!! This year was the year and DNA brought out the big Guns taking second and third in the seed company Hash cup the first year it was opened to seed companys. As well as taking First place at the Legends Dinner for the Sleestack Dry sift that was made completely by a friend of ours grown and then processed to the finest white powder that is full melt and smoother then ANY bubble hash ... Essentially it is Keif but processed down to its purest form.. The flavor and room smell is second to non, old timmers as well as beginners go crazy for the dry sift and the best part is how easy it is to harvest the crystals from the Sleestack.
If you ever watched the land of the lost program back in the early 80s Sleestacks were the guardian of the crystals!!! What a perfect name for the crystal producer... SLEESTACK (available now in regular and female).
Placing 2nd and 3rd for Hash was special for DNA and family because we have refined our Hash making! We are getting the fullest flavor as well as essence from the crystals, either with water extraction or the preferred much more difficult dry extraction, the flavors are coming out like never before!
We are very proud to have placed in 2 of the three places for Seed company Hash and with the First place at the Legends it was a trifecta 1st 2nd and 3rd for DNA/RP for Hash!

The winner KOSHER KUSH is an amazing strain out of California, it is a stinky over the top with smell and with a average yield making all who smoke it feel "blessed" if you will that they had a chance to taste her... Instantly any herbalist who tries her wants more.... more information an where to get more or the cut or the seeds!!! Well some background on this strain is a group of Jewish kids in LA were running around with this great herb and calling it "Jew Gold"... now in the upper crest LA scene this name was all good and people had embraced it..... Well we just couldent get ourselves around the name and reffered to it as the JG... well after time went on we aquired a cut from the JG crew at a price of course!! and started to grow the JG in numbers and well lets just say it lived up to the hype!!! DNA both are non religious on every level and really don't have the desire to promote or notpromote any race, religion, or creed... With that being said we couldent pass up the opportunity to turn the Jew Gold into the Kosher Kush!!! Keeping humor alive and trusting the cannabis community can handle a stoner name like Kosher Kush!! And most people would agree if somebody says "its kosher" it generally means its ok not lets go to the synagogue ... So Koshor Kush was born... People are asking every day when are the Kosher Kush seeds going to be available and the demand is Very High!!! Seeds will be available in feminized early 2011..

LA CHEESE was the 3rd place winner for Coffee Shop GreenPlace the LA CHEESE we were selling in 2008 as LA Cheese a cross of our Prize LA Male to the Exodus Cheese.. This would be the only way it would be done as to there is no Exodus male. So we started selling the LA Cheese in 2008 and by end of 2008 we decided to re name her Confidential Cheese this was done and since winning 3rd in 2010 people seem a little confused.. and rightfully so, people see the winners and go looking for LA Cheese and wonder what Confidential Cheese is?? Lets set the record straight The LA CHEESE is the CONFIDENTIAL CHEESE.  No other award winning seed company sells or has sold LA Cheese or Confidential Cheese at ALL on any level EVER!!
So if you want the LA CHEESE that won the cup then CONFIDENTIAL CHEESE is what you are looking for. Sorry for the confusion sometimes stoner moves like name changes can confuse the community.


 CHOCOLOPE has placed 2nd before at the Cannabis Cup. In 2007 the Grey Area Coffee shop entered Chocolope and managed to beat out the Greenhouse and only lost to Barneys by 1 vote for the coveted coffeeshop cup! With almost no promotion just the power of the herb doing the talking. What a huge surprise Chocolope came withen 1 vote of the CUP for Coffeeshop!!! If you want to see the true winner of the Cup if you can track down a copy of the 20th HTCC DVD that can be found on the internet. And remember the GREY AREA only lost by 1 vote...LOL
The CHOCOLOPE has come a long way in a short time winning all of this before this years 2nd place at the CUP for Seed Company.

The Chocolope, which was originally named D-Line, is a growers dream plant. She is easy to grow, produces heavy nugs, large yields and is unique. This sativa dominant plant likes to grow tall but can be trained to grow out. For this cross we choose our Original Chocolate Thai female to cross to the Cannalope male. We then started backcrossing this to achieve a shorter flower time and still retain some of the OG Choc. Thai qualities. What makes her so special is when you smoke her you taste that chocolate you’ve been missing from the 80’s. This is the ‘ONE’! Not much haze, but you don’t need it.
