The Cali Connection

The wait is finally over!  We’ve been waiting to get our hands on these new cannabis seeds from Cali Connection ever since we found out they were in development.

Cali Connection are one of our favourite seedbanks here at Sativa Towers.  These guys are completely, utterly, almost to the point of being a bit bonkers about it, in love with Kush.  Their whole range of seeds is peppered with Kush genetics and derivatives.  Their fascination with OG Kush led them to develop the flagship Tahoe OG Kush which now finds itself a regular part of the pedigree of their new strains.  In short, they have built an entire cannabis empire on the back of their love for Kush.  What’s not to like?

Grape OG is a new 60% Sativa / 40% Indica strain with a mouth-watering pedigree.  Cali Connection took their Grape Romulan and gave it the Kush treatment by crossing it with Tahoe OG Kush. 

When grown in a legal climate, this special strain of marijuana flowers in 8-9 weeks and produces very resinous, sticky nugs that would make the strain ideal for extractions.  The scent is simply mind-blowing; citrus and floral with a diesel background.  A superb new strain that is sure to be popular with the 7:10 community as well as regular souvenir collectors.

Louis XIII OG has something of a legendary status in the U.S.  A bit of internet research reveals many stories and testimonies offering theories as to where the strain originated and what, exactly is in the genetic make-up.  Well, this variety from Cali Connection began with a clone that the guys got from Sun Valley Caregivers (SVC) in Sun Valley, California.  The Cali Connection guys thought long and hard, before deciding to cross it with…..you guessed it….Kush!  Tahoe OG Kush, to be precise. 

It should be no surprise to anyone that the resultant strain ended up being a bit special.  A 60% Sativa 40% Indica which flowers in 9 weeks and produces enormous dank buds.  So heavy are the nugs that legal growers will need to stake this one during the final few weeks to prevent the plant collapsing under the weight of the buds.  Citrusy, candy lemon goodness with nuances of spicy pine provide the overriding flavours.  This is a special one guys and gals – get it while you can.

Finally, we come to Grape Kush.  Again Cali Connection began with the Grape Romulan and this time introduced their famous Pre98 Bubba into the mix.

Legal cultivation has produced strong, robust plants with thick stems from the Pre98 Bubba genetics.  The larger than average yields of dense nugs have a delightful aroma reminiscent of flowers, backed by spicy notes of hash and incense.  The flowering time of 8-9 weeks is substantially shorter than a regular Romulan, thanks to the presence of the Pre98 Bubba in the genetics.  A lovely strain, sure to be popular with connoisseurs – Don’t miss your chance to add these souvenir seeds to your cannabis seeds collection and preserve the genetics for future generations.
